First Sergeant (retired) Jose “Marty” Martinez served over 20 years in the United States Army, mostly Special Forces (Green Berets). Marty has dedicated himself to training and mentoring others to share his knowledge and experience.

Marty spent his career in 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) and Special Missions Units. He has trained countless US personnel and foreign partners while serving in the Balkans, Middle East, and Central Asian States. 

Through his experiences he has acquired skills in all facets of special operations and tactics. He currently continues to provide support to the special operations community through training, works part time as a police officer, and volunteers as a strength and conditioning coach at a local high school.
